Everyone driving in Beijing has to face the tail number limit, but it seems like not everyone takes it seriously, even this traffic control measure has come into force form the 1st of October, 2008. If you have not got Chinese driver's license yet, click to see our service.

Every time you violate this measure, 100RMB fine ticket will be issued and sent to your vehicle domicile. If you ignore it casually, then your vehicle will be hold in its annual inspection.

We will keep the Tail Number be updated, so that our clients don't need to flip Chinese newspaper or call Chinese friend before drive.

In 2005, Chinese government’s report showed that China would become the largest car sales market in the world till 2020. On Jan 11th 2010, Reuters reported that China surpassed USA “to reach record levels in 2009 ... ... as the world's biggest market.”

There is no doubt that the Urban Planning of Chinese cities is far behind the reality - increasing car sales. In order to ease the traffic jams in the central city area, more and more Chinese cities apply traffic control measures - such as license plate rationing system and tail number limits.

Now in China, other cities like Chengdu, Changchun, Jinan, Tianjin, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Harbin, Guangzhou, Guiyang, Nanchang and Wuhan have the similiar traffic control as Beijing.

We released the tail number limit information since 7th July 2012.
