China Driving Point System applys in all provinces and cities, and road authorities share information about intercity offenses.
Drivers holding a full, unrestricted license will be disqualified from driving after accumulating 12 demerit points within 1 year period.
Your 12 points will be deducted in the following cases:
- Driving 50% over speed limit
- Driving after drinking
- Driving vehicle which is not in conformity with driving license. For example, drive motorbike or track with C1 license.
- Driving vehicle without license plate, with covered license plate, fake license plate or license plate of other vehicle.
- Driving vehicle without vehicle license, with fake vehicle license or vehicle license of driver.
- Driving vehicle without driving license, with fake driving license.
